Winyelle Pool, RCC

I am Winnie, a PGA of Canada professional and a clinical counsellor based in Vancouver BC. I provide mental performance coaching and individual sports counselling.

Drawing from my own experience as a former collegiate golfer, I understand the pressures and challenges of consistently performing at a high level. I support my clients through a person-centred and non-judgmental approach, helping them establish the best strategies to achieve their goals.

I hold a Registered Clinical Counsellor designation (RCC #18999) designation through BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and am a Class A Professional with the Professional Golfers’ Association of Canada (CPGA). I graduated from the Masters in Counselling program at Gonzaga University and the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology program from the University of British Columbia.

Performance Focused

Our work is grounded in real competitive situations. Sessions focus on tools and strategies athletes can apply during training and competition so that mental skills become part of their daily performance routines.

How I Work With Athletes

Collaborative Support

Working with athletes is a collaborative process. Rather than prescribing solutions, we work together to understand what is happening during practice and competition and develop strategies that fit the athlete’s style, environment, and goals.

Long-Term Development

Mental skills develop over time through practice and reflection. The goal is not only to address immediate challenges but also to help athletes build psychological skills that support performance across their sporting careers.

If you are considering support for yourself or your athlete,

you are welcome to connect through a discovery call.

This is an opportunity to briefly discuss what the athlete has been experiencing

and whether working together would be helpful.
